El plantón del presidente de Irán a Amanpour, de CNN
La estrella periodística de CNN Christiane Amanpour sufrió presiones y un desplante posterior de parte del presidente de Irán en Nueva York, en donde exigió cumplir con imposiciones de Teherán que justaente ya han causado una revuelta por la muerte de una joven.
Christiane Amanpour, la periodista estrella de CNN Internacional contó que iba a entrevistar al presidente de Irán, Ebrahim Raisi, en el marco de su presencia ante la ONU, para hablar sobre las protestas en su país tras la muerte de Mahsa Amini, quien fuera golpeada por no usar velo.
La cuestión es que la cita estaba concertada y el mandatario iraní se retrasó. Contó la corresponsal en Washington Dori Toribio que "le pidieron a Amanpour que se pusiera el velo". La periodista dijo educadamente que no: "Estamos en Nueva York", planteó.
Desde la delegación de Irán le dijeron que era "por respeto" y citaron "la situación en Irán". Amanpour reiteró que no podía aceptar esa condición sin precedentes en entrevistas fuera de Irán.
Conclusión: No acudieron a la entrevista y dejaron la silla vacía.
